How to “be still” in preparation and receive the promises of God.

God has given us,many precious promises. Some have not been made manifest but while we wait we have a responsibility to “be still” and know He is God, and He is faithful to perform what He promised. You don’t have to make anything happen because that is God’s job, but you can do these things in preparation for your blessing. You will never wait the same again.

I can love.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35

I can offer mercy and kindness.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:12-13

I can be generous.
They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 1 Timothy 6:18

I can do my best at what God has currently given me.
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. Matthew 25:21
