Check Your Seeds

Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. Those thoughts both good and bad have an equal opportunity to grow. They are each a sum total of what we say, what we see, and what we hear.(Proverbs 18:21) Today you must choose which ones you will cultivate and which ones you will pull.

The first thing to explore will be your belief system. What is your belief system? What do you believe about God? What do you believe about yourself? What are you using to give you a diverse perspective? Are you guarding the gates to your thoughts?
Something we must remember when we ask these questions is that we are in a spiritual warfare. (Ephesians 6:12) There are so many factors that impact the way we tend to our garden. The battle starts with thought for the future and memories of the past. Your future gives you a dream and your past gives you limitations to those dreams. At this point we are beckoned to entertain one or the other.

Once we see exactly what is going on in our heads and that the enemy is constantly trying to plant bad seeds and cultivate them with lies and unpleasant memory we must ask how can we stop it or at least put it at bay so that we can function like “normal”. I do not profess to know the answer but I do know the Answer. The word of God comes to give life to those positive things we are to constantly pursue. (Philippians 4:8)
The serving of God begins in our mind. When we serve him with our mind our actions change. When our actions change our life changes. When our life changes we walk into our God given destiny. Since we know now that this is a spiritual war we will not allow things to substitute what the word of God has promised to fill. Ideas of perfection will fall off while the word of God starts to shape our worlds all over again. For in Christ we are indeed new creatures. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I’ve learn this post and if I could I desire
to suggest you few interesting issues or tips. Maybe you
could write next articles referring to this article. I want to learn more things
    about it!

    • The first thing to examine is what are the good seeds and what are the bad seeds. Good seeds are the ones that show confidence in the fact that the Lord is by your side. You grow these seeds by studying the word of God and what it says concerning you. The bad seeds are anything contrary to what the word or God says about you. When the bad thoughts come say what the word of God says about you. You will find that over time your confidence in God has grown and you will live the victorious life that He intended for you. hope this helps!
